9th day into juice fasting!!!!

Wow, it's been 9 days today into my juice fasting....I've lost only about 7lbs.....it's not as fast as most people I guess but I am happy. I still get headaches and get dizzy from time to time but it's tolerable.

I am shooting for a 30 day fast and maybe will continue into a 60 day fast!!!! Every single freaking day I think about eating something....out of habit I guess.....but immediately I drink water or juice!!!!

My favorite juice is bunch of kale, bunch of spinach, ginger, lemon, and green apple...all of these, of course, organic!!!! How is everyone else doing in this journey? I NEED MOTIVATION!!!! AARRGGHHh!!!!

You are awesome!!! 9 days is great. I think juicing fasts are the best!!! While water fasts are okay, the juicing I believe is healthier, safer and quite effective in ridding the toxins from one's body. I have been a champ weight loser and unfortunately a champ weight gainer:) One thing I will say for sure is that if you know you are doing your weight loss correctly than the scale is NOT your friend during that process. It is like playing countless hands of blackjack in Las Vegas. You may win 9 out of 10 hands....but the one you lose you bet everything and lost everything!!! The scale is similar in that you may have 9 straight days of weight loss but the one day where you gained a pound back (due to water weight) you feel dejected and QUIT!!! Trust me as I tell you that as long as you stick to your set goals of time for fasting you will SUCCEED!!! You will lose all the weight you want to realistically lose. I think the work is the FAST, and the reward at the end is to weigh yourself and see the benefits of your hard work on the scale. But due to water weight and the body's tendency to retain water at any given time the scale can be deceiving when one weighs themself constantly. The true test is loss of bodyfat.....and how you fit in your clothes/measurements!!!! Everytime my belt buckle extends another notch I know I am doing the right thing. I never worry about losing the weight as long as I stick to the plan- it is inevitable to lose weight when one fasts......and I am doing it on Prednisone (a potent weight gaining steroid that makes you want to eat every second).
