A Dry Fast Helped to Heal My Gum Inflamation

About 1.5 weeks ago I developed some severe gum inflammation where I previously had a root canal. The pain wasn't severe. I had recently finished reading Quantum Eating by Tonya Zavasta.
In it she recalls when she had a severe tooth ache and began a dry fast to see if it could help with the healing. She found that within a day or so the pain and inflammation had subsided dramatically.
And was completely gone in 3 days. I had water fasted many times but was very curious about dry fasting. I began my dry fast on a Sunday evening.
Within 36 hours the swelling had dramatically decreased. I fasted until Wednesday morning when I had a large glass of freshly squeezed honey tangerine juice. Boy, did it ever taste good!
The swelling was pretty much gone. I did feel a little tired but overall felt good through the fast. I didn't have a great thirst which kind of surprised me. My next goal is for a 4-5 day dry fast for deeper cleansing.
